What an ordeal. I am glad to be home in my small little town. We drove 680 miles round trip and I am pooped. It's always an adventure. Although I must say I could think of much better ways to spend time and money ....it's all about being "safe". This unfortunately is the risk involved living along the Gulf Coast. This was my 3rd time to evacuate in the last 6 years......and I have lived here since 1995. That's really saying something about climate change. What do ya do? Anyway, Marlee turned 4 while we were away. I had two babies during hurricane season...there was a reason Mia was born in February.

Glad you are all back and safe. I was feeling for you, picking up with three babies in tow! 680 miles - yikes! I am sure it is good to be home. Happy Birthday Marlee! She and Summer are very close in age, Summer just turned 4 on 8/9. Hope we can get them together sometime.
